The Power
The 2018 Ford Taurus SHO comes with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6 engine that produces 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. It comes with all-wheel drive, a sport-tuned suspension, and a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Exterior Look
The SHO sets itself apart from other Taurus trims with 20-inch wheels featuring SHO badging, chrome trim around the grille and side glass, and some black exterior trim elements. It also has HID headlights, a spoiler in the back to make the back deck lid look higher than the other models, and dual exhaust tips.
The Performance Package
Bring the SHO up another level by adding the optional performance package. This comes with performance brake pads, stiffer springs, stabilizer bars, and a sport-calibrated electric power steering system. SHO models equipped with the performance package accelerate quicker than other Taurus models, and they also have two electronic stability modes, including a track mode. The package also adds performance summer tires, and inside, it comes with an Alcantara leather-wrapped steering wheel.
