Few reasons are needed to convince someone to buy a Ford Mustang. This historic sports car has so many outstanding features that it sells itself. The 2018 Ford Mustang continues to improve on those features to make it worth your while to upgrade this year.
Performance
The Mustang has always had impressive performance and one wouldn’t think much could be improved. Ford has come through yet again in that department, tweaking the drivetrain for overall improvement on performance.
The six-speed standard has a dual-mass flywheel and twin-disc clutch that improve torque and clutch modulation. The new 10-speed automatic transmission has quick shift times and more power for quicker acceleration.
Testing out this year’s Mustang on the track is made easier with Launch Control and Electronic Line-Lock that utilizes advanced technology to create balance between the gas and brake pedals, allowing the front brakes to lock and releases the back brakes.
Safety
Sports cars are not necessarily known for their smooth ride, but this year’s Mustang has MagneRide, a magnetic damper system that comes with the optional package. This system adjusts for changing road conditions 1,000 times per second.
The Ford Mustang engineers took advantage of the latest safety technology with the 2018 model. The 2018 Mustang comes with Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Lane-Keeping system, and the Blind Spot Information System. It also comes with front, side, overhead, and knee air bags, as well as the ABS brake system and stability control.
Even if you’re not a Mustang fan, go take this year’s model for a test drive. You may find yourself wanting to upgrade.

The 2018 Ford Escape Titanium may be on the small side in the SUV category, but it has many features that make it a desirable purchase. The following are three good reasons why the Escape is worth the splurge.
Fuel Efficiency
Not many SUVs can boast excellent fuel efficiency, but the 2018 Ford Escape Titanium claims bragging rights on this environment-friendly feature. The auto start-stop technology utilizes fuel consumption when driving in the city. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost is designed for fuel efficiency, but still provides plenty of acceleration power.
Key Features
It’s hard to tell the difference between the Ford Escape and more luxurious SUVs from the inside. This year’s model has a push-start ignition with remote keyless entry, SiriusXM radio service, climate control, leather seats, and a 10-speaker audio system. Both the driver seat, as well as the passenger seat, have a 10-way power setting for seat adjustments.
Safety
This SUV comes with a reverse sensing system that alerts you of obstacles with a series of beeps when backing into tight spaces. The closer you are to the obstacle, the faster the beeps sound. The Escape also has front- and side-mounted air bags, brake assist, an SOS post-crash alert system, and a tire pressure monitoring system. It also comes equipped with a Blind Spot Information System that alerts you to vehicles that are in your blind spot on the highway.
All of these features combined make the 2018 Ford Escape Titanium worth the investment.
